The DeGroote School of Business email redesign aimed to create a more engaging and cohesive experience for students, alumni, faculty, and the community. By assessing existing templates and refining content strategy, the project showcased student success, updates, and events in a more compelling and accessible way.

Challenge
The redesign needed to engage diverse stakeholders while balancing department priorities. The goal was to create visually appealing emails that conveyed key information while maintaining McMaster’s brand. Collaboration and stakeholder education on UX and design consistency were essential for success.

Solution
I created a clean, minimalist design with bold visuals and simplified layouts, ensuring flexibility and ease of adaptation within Dynamics’ limitations. User-friendly templates with clear instructions, feedback loops, and a focus on skimmable content led to higher engagement, increased event RSVPs, and improved team satisfaction, fostering a stronger sense of pride within the DeGroote community.
