The email redesign project for DeGroote School of Business focused on creating a more cohesive, engaging, and accessible communication experience for students, alumni, faculty, and the broader community. By reviewing existing templates and refining the content strategy, the redesign helped spotlight student success, events, updates, and school initiatives in a clearer and more compelling way.

Challenge

DeGroote’s email communications needed to serve a wide range of stakeholders while balancing multiple departmental priorities. The challenge was to create branded, visually engaging templates that made information easier to scan, understand, and act on within the limitations of Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Collaboration was key to the process, including guiding stakeholders on user experience best practices, content hierarchy, and design consistency.

Solution

I designed a flexible email template system with clean layouts, bold visuals, simplified content structures, and clear calls to action. Built within the constraints of Microsoft Dynamics 365, the templates improved readability, strengthened brand consistency, increased event engagement, and created a more polished communication experience for the DeGroote community.
